Youtube Description:
In this video we import the low-resolution mesh into Substance Painter and assign texture sets based on UDIM tile. The Substance Painter interface is introduced and we bake information from the high resolution mesh on to the low-resolution mesh. Material assignment by color ID and PBR material types are introduced. Substance Painter's use of curvature, ambient occlusion, normal, and world space normal maps for procedural application of textures is discussed. Channels like base color, height, emissive, normal and alpha (opacity) are also discussed.
